I’m Christina, the main photographer and owner behind Lovelite Studios—a little loud, a little adventurous, and a whole lot of heart. Based in Bellingham, Washington, I photograph love stories and life’s big milestones, from surprise proposals and wedding days to senior sessions and new beginnings.
I love photographs with feeling: the breathless laugh, the tight squeeze, the happy tears, and the confidence that comes from being yourself. My approach blends gentle guidance with room for things to unfold naturally. You don’t need to know how to pose—I’ll help you feel comfortable, have fun, and create photographs that feel like you.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me exploring with my husband and our two dogs, heading out on a van adventure, or playing with film photography. Wherever your story takes us, I want you to leave with beautiful photographs and memories of a damn good time.
My approach
The best photographs start with connection. Before I pick up my camera, I want to hear what you’re celebrating, what matters to you, and how you want to remember it. From choosing a location to figuring out timing, I’ll help bring the details together so you can show up feeling prepared and excited.
In front of my camera, you have permission to move, laugh, get a little sentimental, and be yourself. I’ll offer direction when you need it, find the beautiful light, and leave space for the unexpected moments. Whether we’re planning a surprise proposal, exploring somewhere incredible for your elopement, or celebrating your senior year, I’ll bring an artistic eye and plenty of encouragement. Together, we’ll create photographs full of personality, connection, and feeling—ones that bring you right back.
